Matt was asked by a friend of ours (who is a teacher) to come and read to the elementary school where she works. It was during "reading week" where different people from the community read to several classes there. Since Matt has a job where he is always working with the public, our friend felt it was a good idea to have him come by.
I went along to take some pics. He was a good sport and had those little ones laughing quite a bit.
Isn't it great that the book Matt's reading from looks like it's upside down? Thanks to some great publishers, the pages were put in the wrong way. The photo below makes me laugh because of this.
It was extra cool to be at that school because it's the same elementary Matt went to growing up. He happened to be reading in the very classroom he had 2nd grade in.
